Completed in 1890, the Capones Lighthouse took seven long years to be constructed by Juan Mendoza through the supervision of Engr. Guillermo Brockman due to the inaccessibility og the island of Capones. Capones can be reached only by boat from the town of San Antonio, province of Zambales. This cylindrical lighthouse is one of the few surviving Spanish Lighthouse that remains in good condition, attesting to the strength of the materials used in those days.
