Bonifacio Monument
The move to build a monument for the founder of the Katipunan.. Andres Bonifacio came from his friend and fellow Katipunero. Guillermo Masangkay. This was the later formalized in the Philippine Legislature Act. In 1930, a jury chose 40-year old Guillermo Tolentino’s winning design which consist of a 45-foot pylon with five parts representing the five aspects of the Kataastaasan, Kagalanggalangang Katipunan ng MGa Anak ng Bayan (KKK).
